Ministries at FBC, White Hall

Senior Adult Ministry

Who is a Senior Adult? If you feel you belong, our “Young At Heart” group welcomes you. Generally, those over 55 will take advantage of the many opportunities that abound for senior adults at FBCWH. We believe that our seniors are vital to and have much to offer our church. Many seniors are involved in our teaching, music, prayer, benevolence and visitation programs. Our "Young at Heart" group schedules stimulating activities like field trips and tours throughout the year. Monthly activities are scheduled to provide opportunities for fellowship and ministry. Come join us!

Adult Ministry

Christian adults provide the leadership and backbone of our teaching, missions and outreach . Understanding that spiritual growth is ongoing, we have opportunities for adults (both single and married) to mature spiritually through regular Bible Study and service opportunities.

Small group study and fellowship is provided through our Sunday morning classes as well as specialized Bible study classes offered through the year. We invite you to explore our classes and become friends with the many singles and couples in our fellowship.

Singles Ministry

Singles of all ages are welcome in our fellowship. We have a variety of classes, both co-ed and single gender which a single may choose to become involved with. Opportunities abound for friendship and spiritual growth and service in our loving church family.

The overall purpose of our Student Ministry is TRANSFORMATION.  We want to lead students to be transformed into Christ's image so that they will make a difference in eternity.  We believe that the Great Commission should be the driving force of everything we do in leading through this transformation process.  "Therefore, go and make disciple of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you."  Matthew 28:19-20 (New Living Translation)  Jesus basically told us to do three things in the Great Commission:  1.  Go and make disciples (Reach Out) 2.  Baptize those disciples (Reach In)  3.  Teach those disciples. (Reach Up)  From that, we conclude that the end result of the Great Commission is that Jesus desires for everyone to be 1.  Saved    2.  Connected   3.  Growing.  As a result, we have designed specific weekly programs and monthly events in our Student Ministry with the goal of fulfilling the Great Commission and leading students to be transformed.  Click here to visit our student website.

Children's Ministry

Just as our Lord placed special importance on children, so too, do we at FBCWH. We look at the spiritual education and growth of children, (infant through pre-teen) as a special responsibility given us. We are proud to provide bright and cheerful nursery facilities and loving adult caretakers. Our children's Sunday School and, mid-week AWANA programs provide wonderful opportunities to teach about God and show His love to these young people. Our children's activities range from our special children's worship, JAM Town, to Wacky Wednesdays and summer camps designed to reach and teach children about Jesus and His wonderful gift to us.

Music Ministry

Music is a vital component of our worship at FBCWH. Our music ministry includes opportunities for all ages to be involved.  Gifted individuals and teams provide special vocal and instrumental music for our worship services. Anyone who has an interest in worship leadership through voice or instrument is welcome to participate.
